The Search ended
Trained under 10th Generation Shaman Moughenda in the djungle of Gabon, Andreas was given the Bwiti name Ikalu, which means flipping negative to positive.
The Awakening
On the outside, Andreas seemed like a successful tech entrepreneur and investor. On the inside, he was completely empty. Consumed by relentless anxiety, self-doubt, and self-sabotage, he battled depression, alcoholism, and suicidal thoughts. For five days, he lay in a dark room, torn between life and death. When he finally chose life, he witnessed the spirit of alcohol leave him. In that moment, he realized: “There is another world beyond this one.”
And so began his search for the truth.
Determined to find the truth about life, addiction, and mental health
Andreas embarked on an intense journey. From scientific research to exploring plant medicines and indigenous healing traditions, he sought answers from every possible angle. He worked with leading professors in addiction and mental health and developed digital solutions that are now helping thousands of people worldwide.
Bwiti
Yet, he knew there was more to discover an ultimate truth, the most effective method for healing addiction and mental suffering.
That’s when he found Bwiti.
And that’s where the search ended. Not just for the cure for addiction, but for the deeper truth about life itself.
Determined to reclaim his life, Andreas set a series of personal goals:
- I am really tired of being confused, so I have received explanations of who I am. So I do not have to go around thinking, just knowing.
- I have unlocked everything that is holding me back.
- My “buzz” in my head is gone.
- I live from the Infinite Being perspective instead of the EGO mind perspective.
- I know exactly what to do with my life purpose.
- I live in complete faith. I have nothing to worry about.
- I can serve humanity.
Survival mode is over and I have shifted to living in gratitude and love.
- I am open and receptive to other human beings and I just walk around and shine.

About the teacher and mentor
Moughenda is a 10th generation Shaman of the Missoko Bwiti tradition, based in Gabon, Africa. Immersed in this tradition since birth, he began formal training with his grandfather, a 9th generation Shaman, at age 8. After twenty years of rigorous training and four major initiations, he became a Bwiti Shaman. He then worked alongside his grandfather for another decade.
Moughenda Mikala stands as the first Bwiti shaman to open this ancient tradition to the world. By developing a groundbreaking system that integrates Bwiti shamanic practices with Western psychological needs, Moughenda has created a unique pathway to healing and spiritual growth.
